"Restoration Technician"? What Exactly Are We Talking About Here? As a Restoration Technician, you could expect to play a crucial, front-line role in our mission, one day at a time. Evaluating or assessing damage to property, mitigating risk of injury or continued damage, restoring properties/structures affected by any number of perils, and acting as a beacon of hope for Clients. OK, I Think I Get It.. But What Does That Look Like On The Daily? Here's the basics:

Preparation and Organization
- Collaborative meeting every weekday morning to align with crew and supervisors.
- Inventory, organize, and stock assigned Crew Vehicle with materials, consumables, and equipment accordingly.
- Process daily assignments and contact client(s).
- Route-planning, file preparation, and dispatch.

Assessment and Emergency Mitigation
- Respond promptly to new, emergency calls related to property damage (Fire, Water, Mold, etc..).
- Evaluate and map any hazards and extent of damage, assist in development of a Restoration plan.
- Safely remove debris, extract water, secure affected areas (if required).

Remediation, Restoration, and Structural Drying
- Setup and document justifiable and accurate equipment for project requirements.
- Develop, implement, and complete Structural Drying plans.
- Structural and contents remediation or cleaning according to developed protocols.
- Visit/Monitor assigned projects daily to confirm adherence to plans.
- Ensure quality and safety standards are met or exceeded.

Communication, Documentation, and Processing
- Create and maintain a detailed, accurate, and complete record of work performed, including photos and notes.
- Effectively communicate with Clients, Team Members, and other involved professionals.
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding in a professional, honest manner when interacting with Clients.
- Update Project Logs and Team Chat as required.
Very Cool; What Qualifications Do You Expect Candidates To Have?

Non-negotiables/Requirements:
- Displays good judgement early and often in situations with or without direct supervision.
- Consistently high level of effort toward every task.
- MUST show integrity, honesty, and accountability. Take credit for your positives, and take responsibility for your negatives.
- Level 2, or "Lead" Technicians must have a valid Driver's License and provide proof of acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift equipment, some over 50lbs, for extended periods in various circumstances and/or demanding environments.
- Able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

Important, But Not Necessarily Dealbreakers:
- High School Diploma, GED, or a good story for why you received neither.
- Experience in Restoration a plus; Experience in any industry involving a familiarity with tools is also a positive.
- Experience in any industry involving Customer Service (Restaurant/Bar/Catering, Most Retail Sales, Call Center, etc..).
- Reliable transportation to/from our Home Office.
- IICRC (or similar) industry certifications are not required, though we do hold them in high regard.
